Shrewsbury PBA Toy Drive a Success

The local Police Benevolent Association's first ever toy drive a hit.

The Shrewsbury Police Benevolent Association is extending thanks to the community for supporting its first toy drive, one so successful that the department is hoping to make it an annual holiday event.

According to a release from local PBA President and Ptlm. James Ramsey III, the toy drive benefited the Monmouth Medical Center Childrens Hospital Valery Fund wing, and the Monmouth Family Health Center of Long Branch. The drive collected plenty of toys as well as a fully outfitted Play Station 3.

The gifts were donated by Shrewsbury residents and borough employees.
