What's going on in the Red Bank-Shrewsbury area this week.


Happy Monday, friends and fans!

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and festive long weekend. Who went to the (what they used to call) tree lighting festivities in Red Bank (rather, downtown lighting)? Patch was there, so be sure to check out our fun video and photos.

Around the towns this week …

• The Red Bank Planning Board meets tonight at 6:30 p.m. in the meeting room of the municipal complex.

• Pat Guadagno is at Jamian's on Monmouth Street in Red Bank tonight, as usual.

• The Young Adult Book Club for teens and meets at the Red Bank Public Library from 4 to 5 p.m. Check the library's Facebook page for more details.

• There's a meeting about the preservation of the T. Thomas Fortune House in Red Bank on Tuesday. Click here for more on that.

• Red Bank Mayor and Council meet at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

• Flavour is hosting its second annual Holiday Flavour event at the Molly Pitcher in Red Bank on Thursday from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tickets for the event are $45 in advance and $55 at the door. For more information, or to purchase tickets, go to the website at www.RedBankFlavour.com.
