Meetings, News, School Updates Ahead

It's what's going on in the Red Bank-Shrewsbury area this week.


Good Monday morning to you, Red Bank-Shrewsbury area friends and fans!

Well, it was a nice weekend with lots to do. And it looks like this week is going to be one filled with good weather, except for the possibility of scattered showers today, according to the weather troll, uh, I mean National Weather Service.

The chance of showers is 40 percent, with temperatures hitting a high of 71 degrees. And it looks like the rest of the week is going to be mostly sunny, with a high temperature of 74 degrees on Thursday.

There are some meetings this week and there are some things to know.

The online payment system for Red Bank is temporarily unavailable.

All the trees that were available to loving homes have found those homes, Councilman Ed Zipprich announced at last week's meeting.

The Red Bank Planning Board is meeting tonight at 7 p.m. in the usual spot — the municipal complex on Monmouth Street. And the Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting slated for Thursday has been cancelled.

The Construction Board of Appeals meeting is slated for Tuesday at 4 p.m.

And Shrewsbury Borough Council is meeting tonight at 7:30 p.m.

Oh, and Pat Guadagno is playing at Jamian's tonight.
