Project Homeless Connect this Week

It's what's going on in the Red Bank-Shrewsbury area this week.

Happy Monday, friends and fans!

Looks like the weather is warming up a bit and we're losing some of that snow from last week.

Just in time to get around to this week's happenings.

Around the towns this week …

• Pat Guadagno is at Jamian's tonight, as usual.

• There are several special performances of As You Like it at Two River Theater this week, starting with a preview on Tuesday night. Click here for more information about the show, which runs through February.

• There's a Chinese New Year celebration at Monmouth County Library on Wednesday for kids. Check the library website at www.monmouthcountylib.org.

Project Homeless Connect comes to the Pilgrim Baptist Church in Red Bank on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. It features flu shots, medical testing/screening, toiletries and clothing and pairs people in need with county Social Services, employment and training specialists, vets services and more. Call 732-747-2343 for more information.

• Branford Marsalis is at the Count Basie Theatre on Thursday night. Check the Basie website for more info.

We'll let you know later in the week what's going on this weekend.

In the meantime, let us know if we've missed anything, and I'll see you around the towns …
