Time to 'Go Naked' in Red Bank

Only a couple dozen tickets left

It's not late to go naked … for a good cause.

But tickets for the third annual fundraiser dubbed Go Naked and Check Yourself are down to less than a couple dozen.

"Stop by Sugarush a sweet experience or Sweetest Sin Boutique by Saturday to get your tickets...there are only a couple dozen left and then we are SOLD OUT!!" a post on Sugarush's Facebook page said.

This year's event, designed to raise awareness and money for local and national cancer charities to combat detectable cancers, is to be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday in a new venue at Red Restaurant and Lounge on Broad Street in Red Bank. It is sponsored by three of Red Bank's small businesses: Sugarush, Sweetest Sin Boutique and Two River Times.

Its purpose, aside from the fundraising: to inspire a call to action to equip people with the education, awareness and resources to enable them to detect unmanageable cancers in themselves before they grow to an unmanageable state.
The "go naked" motif is meant to inspire and encourage people in fun way to go naked and check themselves. To feed the motif and fun, scantily clad models will be roaming and helping — serve.

The ticket price of $40 and $50 (advance and at the door, if any are left) includes champagne, appetizers, cupcakes and a gift and prizes from local business sponsors. There will also be auctions.

Sponsorships and donations are accepted as well.

Call or visit Chris Paseka at Sugarush at 732-414-9044 or Angela Courtney at Sweetest Sin at 732-747-3550 for tickets and/or more information.
