We had dinner at Monticello on Saturday 2/25/2012 at 5:30. The service was slow, but the food pretty good. We declined coffee and dessert and paid the bill. We finished signing the credit card receipt and the manager came over and asked us to leave because people were waiting and were getting angry. It was 7:30. Understandably, two hours seemed like a long time to sit and we were ancy too, but it wasn't our fault we were there so long. The service was slow! We signed our bill the minute we received it! What would they have done if we had ordered coffee and dessert? We were appalled and will never return, and told the manager so as we were leaving. Four locals will now be spreading the word about the poor treatment at Monticello.
