Red Bank's Holiday Activity Schedule Announced
The Holiday Events schedule begins this Friday with a tree lighting and Holiday Express concert.
Red Bank RiverCenter recently unveiled its 2012 Holiday Event schedule, a jam-packed itinerary that kicks off this Friday with a downtown tree lighting and a performance from benefit rockers Holiday Express. Each year Holiday Express help usher in the holiday season with a public concert right on Broad Street that attracts thousands of visitors from throughout the Greater Red Bank Area. It's a grand way to signal the season but just a taste of what's available to see and do in downtown Red Bank through the end of November and much of December. I don't understand why they have a tiny Christmas tree in front of a restaurant on a side street (don't blink or you'll miss it!) when we have TWO parks right on the river that we could have it in. Isn't it time to have a proper Christmas tree in a place that better represents the town and that people can see and enjoy?   more ›
