Never Too Late for a Good Egg Hunt

Red Bank's annual Easter Egg Hunt, a couple of weeks later this year, attracts hundreds to Eastside Park.

Sure, Easter might have gone down a last week, but that doesn't mean Red Bank was about to leave its kids out in the egg hunt cold. On Saturday, the borough's Parks and Recreation Department held its annual Easter egg hunt two weeks after its regularly scheduled hunt was rained out. Despite the holiday having passed, hundreds of children and families showed up at Eastside Park on a beautiful day to participate in the egg hunt - well, more of an egg scramble if you look at the pictures. The Easter Bunny also made an appearance, posing for photos with the borough's children.

I also agree with the "scramble" notation. It does look Eggsciting!   more ›

Last Chance: Red Bank Easter Egg Hunt

Families can still get their Easter on after Red Bank pushed its annual egg hunt back one week due to inclement weather.

Still looking to feed that Easter fix? You're in luck. Red Bank's annual Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled for this weekend after being rained out during it's regularly scheduled date two weekends ago. Sure, Easter the holiday might be over, but the spirit of the fluffy Easter Bunny is alive and well in Red Bank. Families should head over to Eastside Park on Saturday to participate in the noon egg hunt. Eastside Park is located on the corner of Mechanic Street and Harrison Avenue, you know, on the eastside. The Easter Bunny is also slated to make an appearance.
