Networking event was held at Buona Sera Restaurant in Red Bank
Things heated up on the red carpet upstairs at Buona Sera in Red Bank Wednesday night as local business owners gathered for the New Year Resolution Red Carpet Business Networking Party. Hosted by Jersey Shore Premiere Events, the gathering benefited Lunch Break in Red Bank. Chris Fotache, who organized the event along with Rosa Davis of Ecco Awnings, said that networking opportunities — featuring companies from Monmouth and Ocean counties — are held every six to eight weeks. Their mission is to bring small business owners together to pool resources and ideas in order to strengthen communities and help businesses grow. The goodies included some Patch logo cookies from our friends at Cups and Cakes in Rumson.
Two dozen public relations and communications professionals working in the Two River area came together last Friday for a "breakfast with Patch" networking session at the Nauvoo Grill Club in Fair Haven. Guests had an opportunity to meet with editors from five southern Monmouth County Patch sites and get hands-on tips on how to use Patch sites as an information channel for their organizations, institutions and clients. It was great to shake hands with the people who send us news tips and community happenings. Even better was the chance for our editors to sit down with those community players and walk them through the simple process of posting events, announcements and blogs on Patch.
