RB Police Make Assault, DWI Arrests

The following information was obtained directly from Red Bank police records. It does not indicate convictions.

   • Tanya Johnson, 27, of Red Bank was arrested on May 7 in the area of S. Pearl Street and charged with simple assault by Patrolman Jorge Torres. • Luis Fuentes-Morales,  21, of Red Bank, was arrested on May 6 in the area of Monmouth Street and charged with simple assault by Patrolman Nicholas Maletto. • Joseph Scopellite, 21, of Colts Neck, was arrested on May 5 in the area of W. Front Street and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Capt. Darren McConnell. • George Naeder, 56, of Red Bank, was arrested on May 3 in the area of Bridge Avenue and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Ashon Lovick. * Police also arrested seven people on contempt of court charges.

Shrewsbury Police Report Forged Checks, Thefts and Harassment

Shrewsbury police reported the following incidents and arrest from April 27 to May 2 ... Incidents: • A theft was reported in the area of Broad Street on April 27. The victim reported that merchandise valued at approximately $1,020 was allegedly stolen. Patrolman Frank Neary is investigating. • A theft was reported in the area of Broad Street on April 27. The victim reported that unknown person(s) pried the back door open, gained entry and stole a 42-inch flat screen Sony television. Red Bank Resident Arrests Out of Town

The following Red Bank residents were arrested recently in Middletown: • Condida Raffaele, 50, of Dawnlee Drive, Red Bank (address/zip code), was arrested on April 16 by Patrolman Andrew Siciliano and charged with shoplifting from the Kohl’s store, Route 35. • Lisa Lawrence, 53, of Locust Avenue, Red Bank, was arrested by Cpl. Patricia Colangelo and charged with shoplifting from the Kohls Store, conspiracy, possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a hypodermic syringe. Red Bank Man Busted for Allegedly Dealing Cocaine

The accused was in a housing authority property when arrested

A Red Bank man has been arrested on cocaine dealing and possession charges following a suspcious persons investigation. During the course of the investigation on April 7 at 10:14 p.m. at the Public Housing Authority's Montgomery Terrace, Red Bank police stopped and arrested Prince Johnson, of 80 W. Westside Terrace, after allegedly finding him with cocaine, paraphernalia (a scale), according to a complaint warrant signed by Red Bank Police Patrolman Stanley Balmer. Johnson was charged with: possession of cocaine; possession with intent to distribute; possession with intent to distribute cocaine within a public housing authority; and possession of drug paraphernalia, specifically an electronic scale, the warrant said.
