Which is your favorite business decoration for Meridian Health/Riverview Medical Center's Paint the Town Pink event? Upload your own photos or tell us where some good ones are.

Red Bank businesses are in the pink — or getting the tinge of Pink Bank. But, back then, the economy wouldn't support the vision slated for the heart of the borough's Arts and Antiques District. Still, the project's developer, Metrovation Captial, held fast for it to come to fruition. Now, with the advent of spring 2013, after tempering trying economic times, a housing market crash, color issues and couple of years of ironing out final zoning issues, the sound of construction is humming at the site. The seeds for the lofts have been sown, are taking root and growing by the day. When completed, the mixed use development designed to attract artsy young professionals will feature 25,000 square feet of retail space and …

Red Bank, Shrewsbury Twp. Claim Residents Overpaid for Sewer

Officials claim residents were overbilled between 2006 and 2009 by the Two Rivers Water Reclamation Authority.

Red Bank and Shrewsbury Township are among the six municipalities suing the Two Rivers Water Reclamation Authority (TRWRA), charging the utility overbilled, and in some instances double-billed, its residents, according to a report on APP.com. The suit, filed in December by Red Bank, Rumson, Eatontown, Sea Bright, Shrewsbury Township and Tinton Falls, alleges that TRWRA charged residents higher rates than other participating towns, amounting to an estimated $4.31 million in overbilling between the 2006 and 2009 fiscal years, the article states. Fair Haven, Little Silver, Monmouth Beach, Oceanport, Shrewsbury Borough and West Long Branch founded the authority in 1965 and are considered "member towns." The municipalities involved in the suit…
