Red Bank Police Report Garden Trasher, Water Tosser and Hole Puncher

The following information was obtained directly from Red Bank Police Department records.

  Red Bank police reported the following incidents between May 3 and 8: • A theft was reported on May 3 at Brown Place. The victim reported that former tenants allegedly stole garden stone benches, a fountain, a lawn edger, a front door and a ladder when moving out. Patrolman Ashon Lovick took the report and is investigating. • An incident of criminal mischief was reported on May 3 at Chestnut and West streets. The victim reported that a person threw a water bottle out of the window of a bus, striking his vehicle and damaging the plastic guard below the windshield wipers. Red Bank police reported the following arrests and incidents in the past week ... Incidents: • A theft was reported to have occurred between April 18 and 19 at an East Front Street Bar/restaurant. The owner reported that unknown person(s) removed cash from behind the bar. Patrolman David Hicks took the report. • A theft was reported on April 20 at the West Front Street Antique Center. The victim reported that unknown person(s) stole a drawer from an antique cabinet, which decreases the value of the piece. Red Bank Police: Fugitive From Justice Nabbed on Drug Paraphernalia Charges

  Red Bank police reported the following incidents and arrests in the past week: Incidents: • Criminal mischief and theft were reported on April 11, but occurred between April 2 and 3 on Shrewsbury Avenue. The victim reported that unknown person(s) cut locks to garages in the rear of a property and stole a table saw, chop saw, framing gun and two step ladders. Patrolman Ashon Lovick took the report. • A theft was reported on April 13 at a West Front Street restaurant. The victim reported that unknown person(s) stole a wristlet type small purse which contained a drivers license, bank debit card and cell phone. Lt. Red Bank Police Report: DWIs, Wallet Stolen from Local Restaurant

The following information was obtained directly from the Red Bank Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Incident reported: • Police reported a theft on Feb 23 at a Broad Street restaurant. The victim reported that unknown person(s) stole his wallet while at the above address. The wallet contained I.D. and cash. Patrolman Gary Watson responded. Arrests: • Joseph Priolo, 35, of Tinton Falls, was arrested on Feb. 23 in the area of E. Reported Incidents: An attempted theft occurred on Feb. 3 on Chapin Avenue. A victim reported that unknown person(s) cut several locks off of lockers in the men’s locker room of a nursing home. It is unknown what was stolen. The matter is under investigtion. Patrolman Paul Perez responded. A burglary was reported on Feb. 5 at a Catherine Street residence. The victim reported that unknown person(s) gained entry into the residence through the basement window and allegedly stole cash. Patrolman Nicholas Maletto responded. Borough authorities report recent activity

Red Bank police report the following arrests and activity: Dec. 6 Anthony Rivera, 27, of Red Bank was arrested in the area of Montgomery Terrace and charged with simple assault and false imprisonment. Archibald McGill, 22, of Middletown was arrested in the area of West Front Street and charged with obstructing the administration of law. Victor Rizzotto, 24, of Asbury Park was arrested in the area of Newman Springs Road on a theft charge. Dec. 4 Fredrick Schwarz, 46, of Red Bank was arrested after a traffic stop on Branch Avenue and charged with DWI. Dec. 3 Police are investigating a robbery at gunpoint. The victim reported that he was walking through the Mechanic Street parking lot when he was approached by two males who brandished a gun …

Suspects Make Off with Sandwich Bags in Theft

Red Bank Police activity from the past week.

A Shrewsbury Avenue market was recently robbed of a box of sandwich bags, Red Bank Police reported Friday. The incident took place on Monday when, according to the report, two unknown males entered the store and shoplifted a box of Glad brand sandwich bags and left the store without paying for them. It was unclear if a store clerk caught them in the act or if the theft was discovered after they had left. No other items were reported stolen. Police have not made any arrests in connection with the incident and no suspects have been named. Ptlm. James DePonte is the investigating officer. Halloween Holdup in Red Bank

And other Red Bank police activity from the past two weeks.

A borough man was robbed at gunpoint by two unknown assailants on Halloween, Red Bank Police said Friday. The incident took place in the area of Oakland Street on Oct. 31, police said. The victim told police that the two suspects, one of them pointing a gun, approached him and demanded money. The victim was walking home at the time. According to police, the victim turned over his wallet, which included cash and a debit card. The victim's cell phone was also taken. Tools Stolen from Parked Van, and Other Crimes

Red Bank Police activity from the past week.

A Dewalt tool storage box containing an unknown number of tools was recently stolen from the back of a parked van, according to police. The incident took place on Oct. 13. According to Red Bank Police, a Wallace Street resident reported that the tool box was stolen from the back of his van, which was parked in his driveway. The value of the tools was not immediately known. No arrests have been made in the incident and police have not revealed any potential suspects. Other Red Bank Police activity from the past week: Criminal Mischief occurring between 10-12-12 and 10-14-12 at Wallace St. residence. Pit Bull Puppies Stolen From Home

Red Bank criminal activity from the past week.

Three, two-day old pit bull puppies were recently stolen from the porch of a Red Bank residence, police said Friday. The unidentified victim, a Catherine Street homeowner, told police that the newborn puppies were in a box on the front porch of the home and were stolen Wednesday when an unknown person or persons entered the closed porch through a window. Currently, the puppies have not been recovered. Red Bank Police have not identified any possible suspects. The incident is being investigated by Ptl. Jorge Torres.
