Sandwich Board Swiped and Other Crimes

A Broad Street business recently had its sandwich board pilfered from the front of its store, Red Bank Police revealed Monday. According to police, an unidentified Broad Street business owner reported that unknown person or persons stole their wooden easel signboard with chalkboard surfaces right from in front of the store. The theft took place on Monday, Nov. 19. No arrests have been made in connection with the incident and no suspects revealed. Sandwich boards are a popular method of advertisement in downtown Red Bank. An ordinance allowing business owners to place the sandwich boards outside of their stores was up for debate nearly two years ago.
