Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office Launches Corruption Tip Line
Opportunities for fraud and misconduct may increase in the wake of Sandy.
Monmouth residents who suspect corruption by government officials now have a direct line where they can blow the whistle. The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office (MCPO) launched a tip line and e-mail address on Friday to take reports of fraud, corruption and abuse by local government agencies. “The large majority of public officials render honest and faithful service. But we need the public to help us hold accountable those who betray the public’s trust by committing crimes or using their official positions for their own personal gain and enrichment,” acting Prosecutor Christopher J.
