Collier Youth Services, Neighbor

Collier Youth Services is a nonprofit social service agency located in Monmouth County that offers the following programs for youth: 

<strong>Collier School (Grades 6-12)</strong>, a state-approved, private school for students with disabilities whose needs cannot be met in the public schools;

<strong>Collier Group Home</strong>, a residence for ten teenage girls who are unable to live in their homes due to significant personal or family issues;

<strong>Collier House</strong>, a transitional home for five young women who are homeless or aging out of the foster care system; and

<strong>Kateri Environmental &amp; Summer Programs</strong>, which offer year-round educational and recreational programs for children and families that encourage a love of nature and respect for the environment.

The mission of Collier Youth Services is to provide at-risk youth a chance to grow toward their potential in an environment that promotes belonging, dignity and hope.

The mission is based on a philosophy of deep respect for the inherent worth of each individual and the belief in the capacity for personal change that is consistent with the ministry of the Sisters of the Good Shepherd.
