Rosemary made her professional dance debut at age 15 with NYC's Metropolitan Opera Ballet, and also danced with the Radio City Ballet and Rockettes, and on WNET with the American Dance Machine. Her extensive career as a dance educator includes teaching classes in NYC at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center, the American Dance Machine, and the Nat Horne Theatre. Rosemary directed the Red Bank Dance Academy from 1979-95, and was the ballet mistress for the Twin Cities Ballet in Bloomington, IL, an adjunct professor at Western Kentucky University, and a faculty member with Ballet Pacifica in Orange County, CA. As a choreographer, Rosemary has staged over twenty five musicals in summer stock as well as staging a full length Nutcracker and other original ballets for the Red Bank Ballet from 1985-91. She is known nationally as an expert on children's dance education, and has given teacher's training seminars for the Dance Educators of America, Dance Masters of America, and Chicago National Association of Dance Masters. Rosemary has produced twelve dance training DVDs for Kultur Int'l Dance Films, and as well as dance class music for Kimbo Educational. Her latest DVD, The Visual Dictionary of Ballet for Children, and two new books, Ballet Beginnings for Children Vol. 1&2, have just been released internationally.
